Originally designed in 1957 for the renovated Club 44 in La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland, it is a decidedly architectural armchair, still strikingly individual and totally functional. Fully stable, surprisingly comfortable, severe but with character, its seat design derives from the “Cavalletto” system, of which it is an ideal but more unusual continuation.

Here the classic inverted V pattern that characterizes the system becomes the profile of a leg at the top from which the arm finds its ideal point of support. The resulting overall profile adds a slenderizing touch to this small piece of domestic furniture, making it even more elegant, angular and serious: in a word, distilled through over fifty years of sedimentation, absolute.
Chair without armrests, standard upholstery. Seat and backrest padded with cotton cushions, available in eight different colors. Frame realized in birch plywood with oak finish.

If the packaging is damaged upon delivery, please note it on the courier’s document or file a written statement immediately in the courier’s presence. This is essential for us to process any damage claims. To us please send the images and your order number. We Will take care About this matter, the product will be replaced.
Yes. All products are covered by a 2-year legal warranty under Lithuanian law (Article 6.364 of the Civil Code).

Custom-made or pre-ordered items cannot be canceled once production begins. For all other orders, please reach out promptly to info@norredesign.com.
For EU orders, prices include VAT — 19% for Germany and 21% for other EU countries.
For non-EU orders (including the UK and Switzerland), VAT is not charged at checkout. Local import duties, taxes, and customs fees may apply upon delivery and are the buyer’s responsibility. In some cases (e.g. Switzerland, private buyers), import duties may be billed to the sender and subsequently invoiced to the customer.
Orders are dispatched from Lithuania, Germany, or Italy.
