The Kilzi Studio
KILZI is an independent design studio founded by Jorge Suárez Kilzi, whose work explores the relationship between craftsmanship, sculpture, and functional design. Each object is created with the intention of becoming a lasting presence quiet, honest, and deeply connected to the spaces we inhabit.
Born in Venezuela to a Spanish father and a Syrian mother, Jorge Suárez Kilzi draws upon a life shaped by movement between cultures and continents. Signing his work under his mother’s surname, Kilzi, he honours his heritage while embracing a nomadic perspective that continues to inform his creative vision.
Rather than creating objects that seek attention, KILZI designs pieces that reveal themselves over time. Their timeless forms, tactile materials, and exceptional craftsmanship allow them to coexist naturally with architecture and everyday life.
At Norré, we have chosen KILZI as part of our Collectible Design selection objects distinguished by their artistic integrity, craftsmanship, and enduring presence. These are pieces created not simply to furnish a space, but to become part of its story for generations.
