The lamp is designed for the CORI Hornbæk Hotel, it translates the atmosphere of Denmark’s northern coastline into a sculptural portable light. Inspired by sails catching the wind and lanterns guiding sailors along the shore, the design combines folded canvas shades with a hand-glazed ceramic base and a refined antique brass finish handle. The Poppy Yellow edition carries the design beyond Hornbæk, allowing it to travel while retaining its connection to the seaside origin that shaped it. The color introduces a sunlit accent inspired by the golden light of summer evenings by the sea and coastal flowers, a hue that carries the gentle warmth associated with poppies in bloom.
